Good news story: Atlantic Salmon spawning in Lake Champlain tribs.

Atlantic salmon were once abundant in local waters. Colonial-era reports share stories of horses refusing to cross salmon-clogged streams and of soldiers harvesting the spawning fish with pitchforks.
